Today's Featured Stamper (Myrna Sweet aka mjs1033) has a lovely gallery; and, because of the season, a lot of her most recent cards are obviously Christmas cards. I found this black and white one and decided to change it into a non-Christmas card in turquoise and white. Actually when I looked at the thumbnail, her pine boughs sort of looked like a feather; so I substituted a peacock feather, which inspired the turquoise color for the background. I tried a little double stamping using the embossing resist technique to make a little shadow behind my feather and the sentiment. I also added the three enamel dots (my new favorite embellishment).

Wow Lois this is amazing. I love how you were inspired by Myrna and that I see it in your creation. This card makes me smile. So glad you played with us!
