Michelle asked to use something found in an office on today's cards for the Ways to Use It challenge. I used to work for the public library and I ordered the books for my branch. We received lots of publishers' catalogues and often the back covers of the catalogues were solid coloured really nice cardstock - usually with a bit of a gloss to it. Once I was finished ordering from the catalogues, they went in recycling so I would rip off any nice cardstock covers to use in my cardmaking. Even though I retired 5 years ago, I still have quite a stash of it. So the cardstock I used for the blue flourishes and borders on each piece is what was found in my office!
The flowers are 2-step stamps - I did the outlines in black ink on w/c paper, then coloured the fill-in stamps with various blue markers, spritzed with water, and stamped to give a more blended colour look.
It's for a friend's birthday next week - she is passionate about blue!

I love the thought your put into your challenge piece! Thank you for sharing the story. I really love this electric blue and you did a great job matching it with your stamping. The die cut flourishes balance your little panels nicely. I bet your friend love this (as do I)! TFS
