First let me apologize for the photo. I broke my camera and had to scan the image, thus cropping off the tail of the bow. The image was stamped in Memento black and colored with pencil. When finished, I was not happy with the faint black in the background. I cut the entire image off of the script, stamped the image again and embossed with black. Then adhered the image back on. The black in the structure behind the angel was all hand colored in black to darken it. Thanks for stopping by.

Love that image, Nancy! So funny - I'm just in the process of making a card with a Crafty Individuals angel stamp - but a different one. Will post it tomorrow! Love the way you coloured it and mounted it!

Love your card and its beautiful angel and stitched corners. With the angel slightly colored, she is so striking against the black and white. Just beautiful! TFS

Oh Nancy...you made my day. An incredibly creative and lovely card for me to admire. I love black and white cards, and this card has the perfect amount of color in the angel. Fantastic job with the matting. Right into my favs.

Truly hauntingly beautiful, Nancy. I don't know if it is your wistful looking angel or the classical references in the bg, but one TOTALLY stunning Christmas card. Your cards are ALWAYS standouts!! Mediocre is not in your card vocabulary.

Incredible comes to mind.
Nancy, when I took my first look (before reading the write-up) I thought you had scanned a "museum print!" for your image -- that's how incredible this piece of work is. Extraordinary pencil work!
