Vicki is our hostess this week, and she has given us the beautiful combination of Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake and Pool Party, with the dessert option of a last minute Christmas card or tag. I was OK until I got to the dessert option! OK, this card COULD be a Christmas card (but it isn't!). It's for our son-in-law's birthday, which is this Sunday.
I tried to capture a masculine feel, and I think I succeeded. The card is pretty self-explanatory, except I wanted to say that I sponged the heck out of every part of this card, and I love the feeling of depth the sponging provides.
Thanks for stopping by! Please join us in this week's Color Challenge!

Feathers never looked so good. Even the birds would be fighting over these, Barbara;) what a gorgeous button adorning them and such an earthy background and sentiment.

Love your card, your feathers are wonderful and I really like your sentiment. I did feathers (not as nice as yours) and a wood sort of background too. tfs
