I started by coloring the rose stamp on Neenah paper with my Touch Twin Markers, then used the Sizzix GridWorks die to cut the image into precise 7/8" squares. I layered those onto black matboard Inchies from Inchie Arts and reassembled the image. This background was an experiment with PanPastels, Versamark ink, and an embossing folder... I inked up the folder with the Versamark ink then applied the PanPastels after embossing. I stamped lightly over the image after it was sealed to just stamp a script background on the raised areas of the panel.

Beautiful colors! Love the contrast, very pleasing to the eyes. The black matting makes the rose inchies pop against the rich background and love the technique you used!
