My 12th Tag for Loll's Twelve Tags of Christmas Mixed Media Tag Event. Yesterday was actually Day 12, but Loll has extended her Tag Event to tomorrow Nov. 16th. I finished my tag yesterday, but was not able to post until today.
I really had fun with this tag. Originally after swiping my Distress pads over the Watercolor paper I thought I would spritz with water, but really liked the texture effect on my tag from the ink so just sponged a bit more ink and then inked my Hardwood BG stamp with Baked Brown Sugar and stamped. Then to add more texture I Dry EB with Woodgrain EB Folder.
I already had my copper tree heated and die cut. So just popped up with dimensionals after tying on the linen thread.
Next challenge...my sentiment. After trying different colors, etc. I was pleased with the results. Then just added the scrunched Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding.
Is it possible that this is my favorite of the 12 tags I made?!? I think it is the colors, textures and trees that really catch my eye. Hopefully yours too.
A BIG HUG and Thank You Loll for your fabulous and very, very inspiring Tag Event :-)

Beautiful tag Nancy. Love the rustic look of the DIs swiped across the watercolour paper ... add in the stamped and embossed woodgrain ... and it looks real! Fabulous backdrop for your beautiful heated copper tree. Thanks so much for playing along for all twelve days of the event!! Loll xx
