I was inspired by this beautiful pen and loved the shot of the circular top of the pen. While I was hanging out watching a movie with DS, I made my main piece. I first stamped and embossed the flowers in gold. I then used a white pencil first to make my "mother of pearl" chips. I then went over those with the colored pencils. I also used a gold glitter pen and gold sharpie to add more gold to the flowers (I have some really OLD gold ep that is SOOOO dull). I also added gold and bronze sharpie dots to this panel and also to the oval piece behind. To add the enamel look to these pieces, I smooshed them down into a Versamark pad and embossed with UTEE. I did two layers on each. For my gold striped piece, I broke out my new Gelli plate (YAY!) and brayered some gold paint onto it. I then laid a textured fun foam piece to make the lines and pulled my print from that. I punched my circle and also a plain brushed gold circle. I felt like I needed one more circle so I stamped a pen in gold and embossed in clear and then added the white script. For my base, I embossed in a script ef on the upper part of the card. I covered the join with gold washi and accented with scoring. I put a piece of this on the inside liner too and also scored it. I embossed my sentiment in Turquoise ep and accented with a mix of copper and gold cord.

What a fun card and a beautiful job you did on it!! I love the top of the pen also. Your gold band and the cord around it is a perfect detail. I'm guessing you enjoyed this challenge as much as I did Gail. A great job interpreting your pen of choice. :>)
