I chose the" Colored Soot Stamping".
I sponged 3 colors of ink over my glossy cardstock and held the glossy side over the candle (=soot) part.
I stamped the "Leafy Vines" from Hero Arts on the soot.
Then I thought : why not reuse the stamp with VersaMark on exactly the same place, and heat emboss it with golden embossing powder.
I used hair spray for fixating the soot, and then I cut it into 3 parts.
For further decoration I made a bow with 2 ribbons, attaching them together with a brad, and a paper flower with a pearl on the leaves.

Oh my goodness! This is just SO beautiful! The combination of your sponged background with the soot is amazing, and the gold embossing on it looks fantastic!

Well .... when I opened this, I mouthed the word WOW! The back ground is stunning - gorgeous colors, beautiful embossing and love the soot technique. A fav for sure.

Absolutely gorgeous!! Your background is phenomenal!! I love the color combinations, your ribbon and bow treatment are so pretty, and the gold embossing tops it off!

WOWZERS...super pretty bg. Will have to try that sooty stamping. Neat how you embossed the leaves too and on same spot, way to go, as well as the pretty double bow...beautiful...TFS..:0)
