The inspiration challenge is to come from Schweitzer Linen website. I chose this bed set for its colors. and changed the colors to black, blue and white on the site, however, if you click on the link, it will only show white.
The last HYCCT challenge is to be inspired by a favorite childhood book. When I was a kid, I loved reading and horses...so, my choice was "Black Beauty". Oh, the dreams I had about mounting that awesome steed and riding off into the sunset!
I found this image on Pinterest. The small quote says "A horse is a thing of beauty....none will tire of looking at him as long as he displays himself in splendor." Oh, and Black Beauty always did!

Lovely tribute to your favorite childhood book, Vicky. I like the simple way you did your card with your print the true focus. The blue edging only on the sides gives a stately appearance.

Oh what a great combo card Vicky!!! I just loved Black Beauty when I was young. We didn't have TV so I did a lot of reading! This is perfect!

You know as a child I went to the library every summer and read every Black Beauty book there was. They were my favorite, but I guess I needed someone to remind me. Love the horse image you've chosen and the quote says it all. Awesome card, awesome horse.
