I had so much fun getting creative with this card, first step was to create the background with alcohol inks, then I stamped the grassy image and heat embossed. Next step was to scatter the embossing powder around the edge with no ink involved so it's important to remember to heat from under the panel so it doesn't blow away.
I then created the butterflies by cutting the top piece from regular heavy cardstock and the under piece from vellum. The are assembled using Aleene's Paper Glaze. I used Glasstique as an adhesive for the gold glitter and Stickles - Diamond was applied to sections of the wings. I removed some of the pearls in the flourish and stuck the bottom butterfly to that adhesive, the top is attached with foam tape only under the body section.
Once I got my card assembled I though it was lacking something so I used some negative pieces of a Spellbinder die to cut some scallops and attached them with tacky glue and then I was satisfied.
