I'm not very good at funny, but there's a story here. I was a Daddy's girl from the time I could say "Daddy". My Daddy was a victim of cancer - twice. The first time was in the late 1960's when he had colon cancer. In those days the only treatment they had was to remove the colon and most of the large intestine. Daddy went into the hospital expecting to get his hemmorhoids fixed, and came out a mangled but cancer free mess. Although he did not die, he did develop a bitterness that changed him from the fun-loving Daddy he used to be. (It did not change my desire to please him and love him...) Then in 2001, he developed lymphoma and within a few weeks, he was gone from this earth. But scroll back to those days in the 60's when he was trying to wrap his mind around the idea of a hole in his belly. One day when we were visiting, he was opening his mail and he opened a card that had this sentiment on it. He read it out loud, and we all laughed until we cried. It was a relief to let go of some of the pent-up stress that we all felt. So, read this one out loud, and laugh with us!

What an awesome back story and a real testimony to how important humor can be in the midst of crises! Fun to be able to hit the stash to meet the challenge too!
