This is for Gail's HYCCT Challenge - Keep Connected. I immediately thought of this sweet digi image I downloaded some time ago from freevintagedigistamps.blogspot.com. I always imagine this little girl is talking to her daddy, or possibly, her grandmother! I tried using susie australia's technique with foil, sponge & inkpads for the bg, but instead of looking up her instructions, went ahead and did this from memory!! I did use Lost Lagoon and Pool Party but not a great deal of difference - it looks more like Sage Shadow!! For the pink I used Strawberry Slush & Pretty In Pink.
TFL!

What a beautiful image. We've always lived away from our families (DH was in the Navy) and my kids kept connected with their grandparents via the phone and snail mail so this really hits my heart! Thanks for playing along in my challenge!

Cute vintage image...I love that you set it at an angle!

Sue, that image is just charming and LOVE your background! It appears to be designer paper and looks fantastic with this. Your added flower is the perfect touch!

Oh that little girl is so sweet! What a great picture. As soon as I got to who she was calling, I thought she was talking to her grandma too. So sweet!
