I created this for Lee's colorful Pink and Orange CAS295 challenge combined with Julie's fun HYCCT1420 challenge to use the "Ink, Spray, Smash" technique along with Dina's great "Inlaid Die Cuts" tutorial. Since I am using all PPRS dies today I also combined with PPRS Monday Inspiration.
I dropped pink and orange ink onto glossy CS, spritzed with water then smashed papers together. After the paper dried I die cut the ornament and pine branch and inlaid the pieces including lace for the ornament.
It was all pretty simple except for the lace in the ornament so if we had challenge police I might get thrown out for not complying to the "simple" part of CAS but since our challenges are for fun and inspiration, I'll get away with it!

Gorgeous, Angie! And, yeah, that lace piece does not look simple. Go you!

So pretty! Love your take on the challenge and how that ornament just pops of your card front!! Cracked up at your "challenge police" comment too -- don't worry, I won't tell Lee! LOL! Thanks so much for playing along with my HYCCT Challenge!!!

Oh, Angie, this is gorgeous! I love the inlaid dies, especially with the lace on the ornament! Hehe about the "challenge police!" They don't exist - I think! LOL! Totally love it, and it's perfect for the CAS today and for Julie's wonderful "smash" challenge for HYCCT! Hugs, sweet friend!

Angie, this is really pretty! You did a great job with the Inlaid Die Cuts technique, and your soft background is just enough to show off that pretty ornament.
