This is my card for Holly's HYCCT1403 challenge of "stripping down". She wants us to to look through our paper stash to find all those teeny strips that you never use and put them to use making your background for your card.
I looked in my stash and decided to use strips from the "springtime vintage" dsp from Stampin'- Up to make my background.
The stamp image is from the Stampin'-Up set "stippled blossoms". The flowers are stamped in rose red ink. I stamped off once to get a variant in the ink shade. Fussy cut the flowers and laid them over a die cut flourish.
My sentiment is from the SU set "blooming with kindness". That's my card for this challenge.

What a beautiful card! I love all the diagonal lines, and the placement of that swirl is perfect to pull it all together. That springtime vintage dsp is one of my favorite sets. You used it to perfection here!

Oh how beautiful! I love the paper strips you've chosen here - gorgeous colours. The flourish and flower place on top of the strips are perfect with your paper strips.
