I had to shift my strip to make this card work. Hope I don't hear any police whistles.
My hero is my daughter. The face on this woman suits my Amy to a "T"........strong, daring, intelligent, a person who knows who and what she is.
Amy was the kind of child who came in the door from school telling what she did wrong that day. When she broke her arm at the park, she came in and told me to drive her to the hospital! She was the baby, but was in charge of her two older brothers. She graduated from college with her Doctorate in six years, even though she changed schools, and majors. She sets goals and achieves them. Amy and her wonderful DH had a boy and girl, then adopted a six year old boy with ADD and ADHD. She runs her own successful business, and is afraid of nothing.
I am so proud of her, and doubly proud to be her mother. She is all the things I am not, but would love to be!!!

First of all, what a gorgeous card!! You caught me with that. Next, I think it is awesome that your daughter is your hero. I think you probably had something to do with it as well. It is nice to hear how impressed you are with her. I'm sure she feels you are a terrific mother also.

Wonderful tribute to your daughter, Anne! I love the image! I don't think you give yourself enough credit--surely you gave the right guidance over the years for her to achieve the things she has.

What a stunning, beautiful face with real strength behind the eyes - it's a wonderful tribute to your daughter who sounds like a very special person. I feel sure that having you as a mother helped make her the person that she is, Anne! I like how you kept this simple, so the beauty is the focus - thanks for sharing in this challenge! xx

Anne ..your card is absolutely gorgeous. Your image reminds me of Myrna Loy. Your daughter sounds like a fantastic person but she must have had an excellent example to follow. As they say..the apple does not fall far from the tree!
