Today's Featured Stamper (Mel Sharp a/k/a stampinanstuff) was new to me, and I was happy to get to know her work as I looked through her gallery. I was looking for a card I could CASE in which I could use a technique I learned in my Copic coloring class -- heavy black outlining. When I saw Mel's Dahlia Thank You, I knew that was the one. Mel had stamped and embossed her image in white. After I was done coloring my flower, I went over the lines with a black art pen to emphasize them.
Congratulations on being chosen Featured Stamper this week, Mel! Your gallery is a delight!

Lovely technique, Lois, which makes for a very strong presentation of your flower image. I like that you left rest of the card plain to balance this strong element.
