My card for Sabrina's HYCCT Challenge, Holding It Together - we're to make a card without any adhesives. Let me tell you, it is a challenge! I kept reaching for embellishments that need adhesive like pearls and sequins, then I thought of stitching on buttons. The watercolor butterflies are stitched on and the watercolored/stenciled bg is also stitched down - we're allowed to attach the main panel so that all of the stuff on the back of it doesn't show. Thanks for a fun challenge, Sabrina!

I so love those vivid butterflies against the soft greys in the background, and stitching the butterflies down was such a clever idea. Umm, I think I have that jotted down somewhere in one of my Google Drive folders that I never look at. This is gorgeous, Bridget - well done and thank you!

What a nice take on the favorite pink and gray combination! Love the coloring on those butterflies, and the background looks like something straight from the fabric shop. So pretty!

Gorgeous butterflies against your wonderful neutral background! I bow to your ingenuity...sewing your buttons and butterflies to your panel...just lovely!
Amazing card, Bridget. Love how you sewed on the butterfly and the buttons are such a nice touch. I especially like the watercolor butterfly. I will have to try that sometime. You always inspire me in some way.

Don't faint if I show up on your doorstep one day, Bridget. I'm coming to "borrow" all of your stencils and a truckload of your talent and creativity. You've been warned. Lovely work, my friend.
