This is for Holly's challenge for HYCCT today to use strips of paper to create a background. I used varying widths from a fall dsp collection and glued to them to a piece of printer paper.
This is also for today's MIX challenge, Distress Pumpkins. I mixed a couple of shades of acrylic paint to create my pumpkin color and painted onto a thick piece of card stock. I did the same with a green acrylic paint, (Making Memories Nutmeg, Sunflower and Meadow). When dry, I die cut the pumpkins four times, twice from the orange and twice from the green, then pieced the leaf portions to the pumpkin portions. I then ran the die cut pumpkins through the coordinating embossing folder. The sides of my background panel are lightly distressed with a paper distressing tool. My MIX is ink and paint. TFL

Great selection of fall paper strips - and those pumpkins are FABULOUS!! Even the flowers dancing along behind are shouting "Fall is here!"
Great card!
