I've actually never made a gingerbread house before. Although, I LOVE gingerbread. So it's probably a good thing because there's a chance it would be eaten before actually getting assembled.
This Frosted Gingerbread house from Power Poppy was super fun to color though. I thought I'd use red and turquoise for a bit of a modern take to something so warm and traditional. I added some Puffy Paint (Tulip) with some glitter for the snow frosting, and little white dots to the candy shingles (White Sharpie).

This is absolutely adorable! You did a great job getting a realistic gingerbread color on the house, and the detail on it is amazing. I love the turquoise - that was a great choice. But for me, the highlight of this card is those enamel dots - I don't know whether it's the gingerbread theme or what - but they look just like M&M's - yummy!
