I completed this card in response to two Free for all Friday challenges; "Au Naturale" and "Birds, Birds, Birds." What could be more natural than 100% cotton! I dug in my quilting stash and found this great swatch of material filled with fall leaves. I cut it to size and mounted it on a piece of card stock using Tacky Glue. I used the SU Bird punch on watercolor paper then colored the bird with SU markers. Black etching is done with a gel pen (they don't bleed on watercolor paper). I muted the black mat for the saying by blending on the Versamagic pigment ink. Crushed curry center for the saying was muted with Cajun craze ink. The happy birthday is heat bossed. Added brad and Hemp and matted the whole works!
