I have to say it again, but I seriously struggle with masculine cards. My first attempt to make a masculine birthday card went by the wayside because it turned out too girly. This was my second attempt and, I must say, I am quite please with how it turned out. The front layer was stamped with a bamboo image and the greeting then was put through the Big Shot using a Sizzix texture plate. I then crimped a strip of paper and adhered that on the left side. I stamped another bamboo image, cut it out and the used mounting foam to mount it onto the front of the card. The Jaguar image was stamped with Memento and then colored using Prismacolor watercolor pencils and a Dove blending pen. The image was cut out and then I mounted the image onto the die-cut shape using mounting foam. In the end I thought the corners needed a little something so I added the photo corners.
