Okay, this is really a wild design, I know. I wanted the card to be somewhat abstract and include a time piece, whether a sun dial, clock, hour glass, etc. why? My son and some of his friends are discussing the theory that time is abstract for one of his classes, so I thought this would be a fun card to send him. I decided to use today's colors in the design (cherries in the sky with islands).
I randomly sponged some of the hexagons, and for the splatters I used watered down reinkers and applied with crinkled Saran Wrap.
Thanks so much for taking a closer look. I appreciate it :-)

It's good to step outside your comfort zone now and then. This turned out really neat with all the texture and movement going on. I bet your DS will love it.

Not only is it a thoughtful card for you sun but that fact that the design is "wild" it caught my eye! I love different! This is wonderful and so well done! What awesome elements!

Another vintage card - love it!! I think this one has a touch of whimsey too - which I love -- that pocket watch is awesome!
