I wrapped a strip of burlap ribbon around a wooden block and stapled it on. (You could use an acrylic block, but would have to tape it on.)
Another preparation I did, was to score a sheet of computer paper every half inch across the entire paper. By doing this, I made a diagonal grid to keep my stamping straight.
Then I stamped the wood block covered with burlap ribbon on the white card base with Early Espresso ink. I let this dry while I was making the medallion for the sentiment.
I came back on top of the stamped burlap and colored the strips with brightly colored markers and added the medallion. Fun and easy!
