What a nice easy subject for to-day's challenge. I have loved 'back to school' my whole life. As a kid I could hardly wait for all the pencils and paper to start appearing in the stores and as a grown-up my girlfriends used to call it 'The Second Mother's Day'! We would meet for coffee and just chat like normal human beings again!!! LOL The materials are very simple . I love the look of the index cards and the measuring tape ribbon has been in my stash for decades! Haven't used that cuttlebug folder for eons either! My DDIL is a primary teacher and I always get her a little something for the first week of school. Depending on her class sometimes it is a nice pen and pencil set and sometimes it is a case of Rum!!..only kidding!!!!

LOVE your card and yes we did use the same ribbon and I ALMOST used that cuttlebug folder too. That ribbon has never been cut. It was something i picked up at goodwill a long time ago thinking i would use it but somehow it never found it's way to a card project. Thanks for playing in CAS challenge this week.

I am laughing about the rum....that's for the end of the year, right?!!! LOL Great card. I have always loved paper and pencils too....hey, maybe that's why we love card making? This is a super fun card with yellow ruler ribbon to finish it off!

Especially if you get A+ all the time.
