This is another case of a card looking better in your head than it does on paper. This week's Queen for the Day is the out-going hostess of that challenge, TrishG. In looking through her wonderful gallery, I found her Edgelits TLC484 card, which used border die cuts for the background. I just bought some Sizzix border dies and have wanted to use them on a card, so Trish's card caught my eye. My background is made up of many die cuts in three shades of green. The Free4All challenge was to use an apple. The apple is somewhat larger than Trish's butterfly, so I moved the birthday sentiment to the top.

Awesome card, Lois - totally reminds me of one I did for DTGD with chevron, and I love how yours turned out - the shades of green are like green apples almost, making your big red apple look all the more delicious!
