This week the Teapoters are sending cheer to a little 3 year old in New Zealand. Casey loves her My Pony; Dash and rainbows.
No Dash here, but I think I have the rainbow covered, not in order, but you have to admit, this is one colorful card. I went the butterfly way as they are pretty darn delightful to watch.
It's been awhile since I've used the Floral Oval for embroidery, so I decided to do a little here. I was trying to decide how to embellish when I came upon this rainbow floral ribbon. You see I am a embellishment collector, er addict. I just have to remember that I have all these fantastic supplies.
Anyhow, the ribbon was the perfect embellishment.
Now we were told we would get extra cookies if we included something for Casey's brother, Laurence. Hand over the cookies, I made a certificate for Laurence, proclaiming he is the Bestest Big Brother ever! Sadly, my printer decided to run out of yellow ink, so the stuff that should have been red or gold, well it turned out pink! You could say a girl made it!
Now where are those cookies?!

Another of your beautifully detailed cards. The shading of rainbow colors is exquisitely done....and then there is that extraordinary fine threadwork that you do.....a Jennifer signature in my mind.

Wow - the embroidery frame is amazing. Do you use a magnifying lens or anything? I remember being so annoyed when I did alternate running stitch with that die to discover that the number of holes didn't work out and I had to fudge it at the end. Not a problem for you . I love your butterfly and the rainbow floral trim. Actually, I thought you'd coloured that yourself - I'm sure I used to have some in white, and I bet Copics (if I had them) would colour it well.
