I loved the way the light came through on this, which is hard to simulate, but I sponged color to be darker towards the top. I stamped the stems and leaves in Soft Suede and the tops of the flowers in white craft. After it was dry, I colored over the white craft with the Starlight Gel pen to enhance the light quality. The decorative strip on the bottom is there to cover a stamping error., but also helps to ground it.

You so captured the look of those pretty luminarias. Lovely flowers and they really stand out. Beautiful work here Kathy! Hugz!

Wow- what an impressive take on the lumiere inspiration. I love the neutral palette. The decorative strip on the bottom - you should have kept that a secret. It certainly looks like it was meant to be there!
