I made this card for a gentleman that was retiring. I printed the Starfish, Crab, and beach chair from my computer, paper pierced and attached it to the brown (sand) paper. To give the appearance of sand, I used Stickles gittler and let it dry prior to attaching it to card base. I added the Blue Raspberry stamp ink to the embossing folder, then embossed and added it to the top half of the card. I finished by adding a computer generated banner and sentiment and used Stickles to highlight it.

What a great retirement card! I love that embossing for the water. Good job on the beach area, too. Wouldn't I love to be sitting there right now! Thanks so much for playing in my challenge.

Sabrina, thank you so much. I walk on the beach daily here in Southern Cali and I can't get enough of it!
Benzi, thank you for offering the challenge. Though I've been a member for years, I don't think I've ever participated in a challenge until yesterday. I'm excited about entering in many more of these.
