This is another middle of the night card...this seems to be the only time I get to do crafts. I went to bed Sunday night a little disappointed that I didn't get to make any cards over the weekend. Had a minor emergency that involved a very long driving trip. Left early in the morning and got home just in time to do my least favorite thing...make dinner. So, Dolly the insomniac dog really wanted to see these cards and she woke me up at 3AM to be sure that I had time to make them. I finger painted the bkg with acrylic paints, added some gesso highlights, and darkened some areas with distress markers. The lower corner was really blue, but at this point I was stuck as to what to do next. I happened to check the challenges for Monday and saw that I had the right collors for the CAS 281 except for the blue. I stamped the stamp in black and printed a light version on printer paper. Tore the edges and covered over the blue. Distressed the edges of the post card panel, glued the white corner with lots of wrinkels in it, and even though the photo does not show it, the acrylic finger painting has a lot of texture so those are the 3 textures for the WT487. The F4A229 road trip theme is the post card. As a kid I collected post cards from every place we visited. TFL, Francie

Francie, you do come up with some of the greatest cards in the wee hours! I love that background! How clever to cover the color you didn't want! The distressing looks fabulous!

Francie this is amazing. I hope you have caught up on some sleep. I don't know how you and Dolly keep creating these amazing cards in the middle of the night.
