hi there,
Congrats to Heather aka Rica for being the FS. I was not familiar with her gallery so it was fun looking through. Here is the card I cased: A Misty Morn by Rica at Splitcoaststampers
I changed the colour a bit by adding a hint of pink. The bkg. was done by rubbing dye ink onto my acrylic block and then dropping Blending Solution over the ink. The solution pushed the ink away and you are left with really interesting results.
I moved the flowers to the side then added the sentiment right onto the card front.
thanks for looking:

I love that background technique you do, Karen. I need to try this! What a beautiful sentiment to use with those flowers. I like the black pearls added to the bases of the blossoms.

I have yet to try this technique and I keep saying I will.... You do such a fantastic job with it Karen. This is outstanding! Love love the color and vibrant feel this has. Gorgeous case.
Karen, your card is absolutely gorgeous. The background is
just amazing. I sure hope I have some blending solution in the house so that I can give this a try. TYFS the directions.
