When I first saw the balloon challenge for today's WT486, I thought I don't have any balloon stamps or dies. Then I got to thinking that I could use an oval die and create my own balloon stencil....so that is what I did.
Both my daughter and my nephew have a birthday this weekend so I thought why not use these fun Pennant dies and stamps from ODBD and my homemade balloon stencils.
This was an easy card not requiring a lot of materials which was easy to create from the couch.
Thanks for looking!!

Love the transparent look of those balloons over that embossed background. The little pennants are perfect with this birthday card - love the colors, too!

Absolutely beautiful and cute too, Chris! I think the balloons are amazing, and I love how you made a stencil and then dry embossed! And those banners are darling with it! What a wonderful birthday card!! So clever!! Hugs!

This is so cute, Chris. I love that you made your own balloon stencil...where there is a will, there is a way. I'm loving those pennant swags from ODBD. Hope you're getting better each day.
