I really enjoyed working with these brown tones! I know I added in a little bit of pink for the flower, but it was begging for a little bit of something. I used four different ribbons for this, and have decided that I love the burlap! I have three rolls of it and just cracked it open for the first time this week. After coloring the flower, it still seemed a little dull and I wanted to add some punch. I couldnÂ’t find a Signo white pen that workedÂ…so I used my chalk pen! Big mistakeÂ…it was so bright I thought it was ruined. So I colored over that with a Blender Pen and a bit of Blushing Bride ink and it felt a lot better.

This caught my eye. I LOVE the woodgrain and soft monotones. The blossom looks so beautiful paired with this background and the ribbons are perfect for embellishment.
