This is one of my tutorial samples for the Glittered Stenciling technique - you can find the tutorial HERE.
I watercolored the poppy image on a matboard Art Square from Inchie Arts, then used the matching stencil as a reverse mask to just fill in the bloom with glass microbeads.

This is beautiful! l love the combo of watercolor (and anything, really!) with the microbeads. Do you have a tutorial for how you watercolor your background and still get the flower to pop? I don't have the matboard, so could I mount watercolor paper on chipboard and work on that surface?
