This is my card for the MMTPT308 challenge "Every Picture Tells a Story" - to create cards to replace pictures that poor Mary accidentally deleted following her six-month long vacation abroad.
Meet Mimi - she and Mary became fast friends when they met in a little bistro in gay Paree. Actually, it's more like that Mary bumped into Mimi and spilled her coffee all over Mimi's beautiful polka dot coat. The two of them hurried off to a one-hour cleaning establishment to have the coat cleaned, and while waiting for it (it took well over an hour) discovered they had much in common and became fast friends.
The image is from a sheet of 12x12 paper and is about 9 inches tall. I scanned it into my computer, colored it and resized it using Photoshop. It was printed it on photo paper, trimmed to size, and photo corners added. The background layer is from the same paper pad, and although you can't see it in the photo, the words and flourishes are traced with Wink of Stella. The black damask piece and the photo are attached with foam tape for dimension. And if you look very closely at the background in the photo, you will see lots of tiny windows...
As always, thanks for looking!

This is an adorable 'prim and proper' little girl on her trip. Love it! Makes me feel 14 years old again! (the first time I got to take the grownup trip by myself).

This is awesome Jody! You are a good story teller too! I love the combo of digital and convention stamping, a technique I use often. How clever to scan in the papers to get the image you need! Fabulous!

Oh Jody, this is just so cute, chic, fantastic, creative etc. You can tell that I really like it. Black and hot pink always look so good and I don't think I have ever tried it. I love the paper and images that you chose and your story is terrific.
