Trish asked me to be a guest designer for the Queen for the Day challenge this week, honoring bejoyce (Barbara). Barbara has such a variety of styles in her beautiful gallery, I took a long time choosing a card for inspiration, settling on this lovely nature-themed card:
I kept the bird theme and used similar colors, altering my layout just a bit to accomodate the size of my focal image. Whereas Barbara did some masking and sponging to create her background, I created a piece using the Polished Stone technique to use as my backdrop for the nesting birds.
