Cathy gave us what I would call a relatively "wide open" sketch today. She put no numbers on any of the elements so a lot was left to our own discretion....fun. I turned the sketch 90 degrees.
I used a thin coat of gesso to create the lighter band on the bottom. Other than creating the Gelli print, the rest was VERY simple.

I've never tried Gelli prints but this card is certainly tempting me to. The background is a stunning blend of colour and texture - perfect to set off the black leaf.
