It's Tickle a Teapotter week and it's all about Feather Fun. Talk about tickling someone's fancy!
There's no feathers flying here, but I did bring a few feathered friends, and it's owl good!
I wish we had owls in my neighborhood, but we don't. I love to hear them talking to each other when we're out camping. I used to see some on their nightly hunt, when I worked nights.
I've had these owl dies for a little bit and even had them cut out sitting on my table, wondering how I would use them. I wanted them to have two colors, so I ran the dies through the machine with the embossing pad, fussy cutting them afterwards.
Of course they had to have big yellow eyes, so I used little patches of yellow c/s for them, adding the stickles for even more of a glow.
With the light of the full moon, they can watch for their prey.

Hmmm, some owls might sound cute...we had a screech owl outside our bedroom window for like a month and it made the most horrible screeching every night, kept us awake!!! But, beside that, your card is so cool!! Love those awesome looking owls. Kinda steam punkie!

Oh, how wonderful! I never thought of owls...I'm glad you brought these delightful ones along. Your moon and slightly starry sky are so beautiful. Your fussy cutting is amazing!!!
When I worked in Yorkshire, I used to hear them every single night, but no matter how hard I tried I never got to see one; I've only seen them in captivity.

Love the way you achieved the color on these fellows. The background of branches and moon is eye catching.
When I was teaching I would order sterilized owl pellets from a science supply house and the class would work in twos to dissect the pellets. Each pair of children would have a picture chart and lay out the bones etc they found. Always had a number of parent volunteers to help with this interesting project!! You have brought back good memories.

I'm with Robin, after spending a month's worth of sleepless nights because of a noisy owl I don't find them cute sounding. They are cure looking and these three are very handsome indeed.
