This card is for two challenges; the CAS water theme and the TLC using an embossing folder as a stamp. I inked up my Darice woodgrain EF with Bermuda Bay, Tempting Turquoise and Pacific Point using sponges and lightly sprayed with water. I then laid a piece of water colour paper over it and let it absorb the inks. I only used a bit of the resulting pattern for my card. I was trying to illustrate the ripples around the bird as it stood in the water. I masked the goose to get the vegetation stamped behind. I really like this EF technique but need to get some EF's more suited to it. Oh boy, shopping trip coming! :-)

I tried to do something like this yesterday with swirls - it didn't turn out. This is brilliant using the wood grain embossing folder for the water - how cool is this??? Very!

Wow! I am so glad you gave the EF tech. a try! I usually spot the folders but you totally had me fooled on this one. I didn't recognize it as a the wood grain folder. You did a fabulous job! Great card! It's fun, isn't it?

Fantastic design - this would work so well for a man! Your use of the wood grain EF for the water is brilliant! I love that you used two blues to ink it. I like how your mind works.

Clever! The wood EF works SO nicely for the water. Beautiful scenic card!
