Today's IC441 site, Grandin Road, was chosen by Sallie (hobbydujour). It is a great site that is filled with loads of inspiring products. A coupe of days ago, I received an RAK Anna Griffin Flower Vine die cut. It was not embossed (it did not come w/instructions and sender did not figure it out til after the fact.) When I saw this art, it reminded me of the die-cut. I decided to try to free-hand watercolor it, hoping it would turn out okay. It was hard w/o the embossed line work and may not be accurate, but I think it's okay. The colors started out lighter but ended up darker than I expected. It is what it is and I thank you for looking!
My card is also for yesterday's F4A221 to "grab" something nearby that is new and not yet used and use it. I did just that.

Gabby, I think your watercoloring is terrific.....but then I like the "free and easy " style of it. The vine looks great on your Moorish trellis bg and makes a bold statement. A lovely card.

I think it's more than ok, Gabby - you've added real depth and visual texture to the flowers and they look wonderful against the white trellis and dark background.

Gabby came out so very nice. You did great with no embossing lines to follow and does remind me of a water colored floral image----you did good girl. Better than I could have done.

Wow Gabby this looks so dramatic and brilliant. It is autumn here and we are surrounded with these beautiful colours. You have captured our back garden my friend.

Love the colors in this card - and your sprawling flowers are really a masterpiece! Very pretty!
