Today Judy asked that we go out of our comfort zone & do something not our style. I used Judy's 5th example, Shabby Chic. Now, I'm not sure if I really even know what that means, but this is not my style at all. I spent what seemed like hours looking through my paper. Once I decided on that it wasn't too long till completion. My lace is very old & it was white so I tea dyed it - never did that before either! I had no idea how Judy crumpled the seam binding, I just wadded it up. That didn't work too well. Then I found a pair of metal flutterbys that I've had forever.
So, this is my attempt at shabby chic & Not My Style!!
Thanks for stopping by.

to crumple the seambinding hold it in your palm all scrunched up and mist it with tap water and let it dry... and re crumple it a little sometimes, it will dry that way.
this has such vintage shabby colors I love that you stained your lace and added the big bling too
