This is for MIX67 - Take It Away. For my focal image I took a background I had stamped and sponged in two shades of orange and did a clear emboss over it, using my Local King Floral BG stamp. I then sponged the open spaces with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink, and then ironed off the clear EP - revealing the original BG behind it. The other "reveals" are the layers behind the focal image - the Script stamped BG is covered by torn Co-ordinations paper which has been layered with a strip of torn music paper and a torn strip from a book page, both of which were over-stamped with the same Cover A Card Greenery stamp that is in the focal image. Sounds more complicated than it is. I added a die-cut butterfly, and some knotted twine.
Thanks for looking!

Robin, what a fantastic take on this challenge! I drew a blank with this one! Now only did you succeed with your awesome focal image but in your background too! I am intrigued by your combination of fantastic layers!

I really like the idea of doing a faux batik over an already created background. I, very unadventurously, have only ever tried it on plain white card or paper.
I like the Greenery carried across both one of the base layers and the focal layer, too. The knotted twine is singularly effective, too. I must file that one for future reference!
