I haven't stamped in several days, but I've been having a blast doing some sketching and other artistic endeavors. For my card today, I used a sketched tulip. I sketched in pencil, then neatened it up with a sharpie outline. Finally, I colored it with copic markers.
Now here's the part where I duck. I'm really not sure if this can be considered mix media, but here goes... For the top layer of my card, I drew a wonky frame on the back and cut close to it with a craft knife. Then I took a bic lighter and burnished the inside edge to create the illusion that it burned from the inside out. That fits with the Take it AWAY concept, right?
The sentiment is stamped on vellum and layered over my tulip.
TFL!~
