Here's my card for this week's Mix-Ability challenge... The base started as a spray painting experiment with layered stencils (started a few months ago), and it took a couple more layers as I played... I brayered white acrylic paint, then spritzed with water and dabbed to remove some of the paint. I added a little stamped texture using stamps from Impression Obsession.
I stenciled some Inka Gold in the corner, and since it's wax-based, I thought I'd try spritzing green shimmer spray over it, then melting it away. I've done a similar technique with Micro Glaze and I thought the Inka Gold might act the same. Well... it didn't remelt. It actually got a little crackly and flaky. Not what I was going for, but sort of cool too. I scraped parts of it off for a more imperfect look.

This is gorgeous. I love the inka gold in the corner. It is what caught my attention first about your card. I almost used it on my card but didn't. Wondered about melting it away. Glad to know that it doesn't work. I might as well learn from your experimenting as with my own. wink, wink!

That BG is amazing. I love how you just let it be the feature and used a simple die cut and sentiment strip on top. Wonderful card!
