This is my Girl with a Pearl Earring...I couldn't resist..just following today's challenge to use either the flower or birthstone of my birth month. I'm a June baby so I went with pearls..actually a single pearl...sometimes one is all you need ;) The bg is a patterned green vellum that I used as an overlay. No greeting or quote on this..works of art speak for themselves

Oh! did your neat style come out in this card! Love it, and yes one pearl can do it all. I thought of you this morning, we are suppose to be in the high 70's today. First time since October of last year. I'm headed outdoors soon! Thanks Polly for playing along in the challenge.

Just love these colors. Clever to make that girl into Vermeer's masterwork. (But then, when doesn't a pearl earring look just right?)
As Linda said, your signature style really comes through on this one! Great card!

Polly, so nice to share the month of June for our birthdays! Isn't June a lovely month. Your card is so beautiful and is definitely a work of art. I love how you added the single pearl and love the gorgeous colors!

How pretty, Polly! I watched the movie they made about this. I love pearls, but I love the Alexandrite more (the other June birthstone). Happy birthday from one June baby to another!
