Oh, to play interior decorator, even if only a little while! Thanks Irene for inspiring us with the World Market site. I am fortunate to have one in our town and get discounts from a son who is works there. From the retro candies, art prints, candles, and such, it can be dangerous to go 'looking'! There was no doubt I would create a room...furnishing it with goodies that can be found within World Market.
My room is in honor of MMTPT300 also. A Place to Call Our Own. We were to bring chairs, tables, rugs, wall art...so how'd I do? And for my color scheme, I am using Sallie's CC476 Wonderful Pizzazz Petals, shades of lavender, pear green, and rose petals.
Don't you just love those cozy wing chairs? I used the Rubber Stampede mirror image stamp to create a reverse image of the chair. And the Memory Box lil' side table is groaning under the weight of that Basic Grey RSVP cupcake. I've got the kettle on...and a fresh bag of Blue Earl Gray. The window was fussy cut and a piece of twilight sky paper (Basic Grey 'Soleil') placed outside. The cool rose petals rug is a mid-century modern image from Judkins that I embossed with Mystic ep.
Please come and share this cupcake with a cherry on top...the kettle's about to whistle! Thanks for your comments.

Great card, Susan! LOVE the colors and the chairs look comfy. Perfect sentiment, too. Yes, I remember the Bev HBs. They still pop up on one of our cable channels now and again. It is so funny to watch those OLD shows and compare them to current shows. What we thought was funny or "cool" back then sure has changed, huh?

OH! I want to sit here and have tea and some of that gorgeous cupcake in this very inviting room you've created, Susan. I would feel so comfy and at home in one of those wing chairs visiting and sharing with a friend. Love the carpet and picture on the wall. I have one that says KEEP CALM AND DRINK TEA in my IRL sunroom Thank goodness you don't have to make 120 of these or 42,000;). I need to go keep calm and make pastry for my son's requested birthday lemon meringue pies. They need to be ready by lunch so its an early start even tho "keep calm" and "make pastry" are two words that have never worked well together for me, but I think I've found a better method)
