I haven't ever used the Tie Dye technique with anything other than Glossy Cardstock, which we no longer sell! Our challenge was to Imitate the Watercolor Wonder DSP, and I chose the beautiful tie dye looking sheets.
When you Tie Dye, the colors come out VERY dark, so it's important to use lighter colors. For instance, the So Saffron looks very much like the Daffodil Delight in the DSP. The only actual color from that collection I used was Island Indigo. I only used a few dots so it didn't run with the Pear Pizzazz and make it too dark!
The trick to making the colors "run" correctly was to soak the watercolor paper first, before putting between the page protector sheets. It dried pretty fast, and I was happy with how much the background really did look like the Watercolor Wonder sheets in the pack!
