For this week's pillow top technique challenge and this week's metallic gold (dots in the bg) with pink, periwinkle and green color challenge, using this week's sketch for the layout.
The spellbinders strawberry vine was one of the first dies I'd ever purchased. Can you believe this is the first time I've used it? It came packaged with an apple border die, which I've used repeatedly... Anyway, the strawberry die cut, once I colored it, was too much fun and I used the leftovers for the inside panel. Can you see it in front? I also sponged the margins of the inside panel with the pillow top technique.

Wonderful job combining several challenges. I love you pillow top technique. I tried doing it with not real great results. Love the strawberry die. The whole card gives a little bit country feeling which I love.

A great die - I finally bought a strawberry stamp last year because I always seemed to have to resort to punch art for any strawberry-themed challenge.
The little gold dots really add to the quilted feel - but they also made me smile because it's as if someone had taken the pips (OK, so I do know they're not pips but right now the correct botanical term is not coming to my tired brain) and used them on the background, LOL. I amazed at how well the Wisteria and pink go together, too - I'd never even have tried pairing them.

Very cute! Alas, I too buy tools/supplies that don't always get used right away...I loved it when I ordered it, but now I don't know what to do with it! Your strawberry vine is adorable!
