CCREW0514HF, CreativeCrew, SUO or SUM - Holiday Focus: National Photograph Month
Create a card that looks like a photograph by putting a border around your image and making the image glossy. You may use On Film Framelits or make your own, you may use window sheets for glossiness or crystal effects.
For this card, I wanted to have a little life to my photo, so I created a Shadow Box over my butterfly. I used my trimmer to cut the middle of my frame out and elevated it using dimensionals after attaching a window sheet.
The butterfly was created using the acrylic smash technique on watercolor paper using markers and a mister.
To add a little pizzazz to my card I put my photo up on a shelf. The shelf is created using four different pieces of Smoky Slate layered and each sponged for definition (a needed element). Some paper piercing in the corners fills the card out completely. There's a lot to this card, it's all in the little details. Enjoy!
