Julie chose Priscilla, catluvr2, as FS. Excellent choice. I love your gallery & I hope you enjoy your time in the spotlight.
I chose to learn something new by casing this beautiful card. I must be a slow learner because I had to watch this 5 times & throw away 5 attempts before achieving the right look!! Luckily all the attempts were with the oval & not the fancy rectangle & I embossed it last after I 'knew' what I was doing. I used sponge daubers to add some light color whie still in the oval die.
Again, CONGRATULATIONS Priscilla on being FS.
Thanks for stopping by.

Love this! I have done some of this, and never used the pieced I did on cards. Thanks for showing me how to use them. Love the frame and die you used to mount it on.

Beautiful job. Love the soft pastel look, and I followed this all the way to the video Actually, my finger inadvertently touched the screen and loaded the link and I'm so glad it did good to know how to achieve this cool effect.

You're too funny, Karen! I wasn't going to tell anyone this, but .... after I watched the video, the first layer came out perfect 1st try. Then when I went to do the next ones I kept doing it wrong. I've since discovered that I get a much deeper embossing by layering a rubber mat, on each side of the die/paper/EF. Your pastels are so lovely. Thanks for being persistent and creating such a pretty card!

Lovely card, such pretty, soft colors and such a great technique. I've watched the video once so far, I'll have to see how many attempts it takes for me to finish a card as pretty as yours. TFS.
