For the MIX Challenge, I did the bg first by stamping a PTI backgrounder repeatedly and various Distress inks on the glossy CS. Splotched on a little thinned gesso and finally spritzed with water and alcohol. The rest of the panel is die cuts.

Love your palette of blues, white and grays, Sallie, and your BG is gorgeous. I am going to have to add gesso to my list of supplies, because I love the look you achieved :-). Beautiful card !
